Hybridside is the third wordpress theme which is borning from my design research.A natural evolution from the past wordpress theme experiments: Wordfinder, a 2 columns layout and Renova, a single column layout.My design research was to experiment a minimal style with different needs, a 3 column layout that would meet the needs from a magazine style to a personal blog.

I decided to implement new functions to the theme : .po file integration for translation, seo tags management via admin panel, rtl stylesheet.Release is postponed for this week in coming.

Structure

For Hybridside i decided to rewrite the main core of the css, more simple to understand and to modify for your personal need.In addition, the theme provide the support for the print of your single articles(single.php).

Every part of the theme is commented to understand easily which part of the theme we’re managing.

Color Scheme and Background

In renova and wordfinder there were five color scheme, with five css color.This way of working was to complicated so, for hybridside, i add the possibility to insert the dominant color you want with the same stylesheet.

The theme support the background feature of wordpress.You will be able to change the body color background or to insert an image you want to show.

Minimal Style

Hybridside continues the research of minimal design for wordpress themes.For this we insert some css3 features like rounded corners for the container and buttons and a drop shadow for the container.The theme will look like a paper on a table.

Content or Excerpt ?

Now you can choose to show on your index, the full content of a post or an excerpt.Hybridside provide a support for the same ways.
